FSC® Policy – Elara Maison
Elara Maison Heritage (hereinafter: "Elara Maison"), as a company engaged in the design, curation, distribution, and sale of furniture and interior decor, is committed to supporting responsible forest management by implementing and maintaining a Supply Chain Management System in accordance with the requirements of the Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC-STD-40-004) in its current version.
Elara Maison cooperates exclusively with manufacturers and suppliers who are FSC® certified or operate within a verified FSC-compliant supply chain.
Elara Maison's Commitment
Elara Maison declares full support for the values promoted by the FSC® system and confirms that it does not directly or indirectly engage in the following activities:
- Illegal logging or trade in illegal timber or forest products.
- Violation of traditional or human rights in forestry operations.
- Destruction of high conservation value forests.
- Conversion of natural forests to plantations or non-forest use.
- Introduction of genetically modified organisms (GMOs) in forestry activities.
Compliance with FSC® Core Labour Requirements
Elara Maison confirms that its operations — and those of its production partners — fully comply with the following principles:
- No use of child labour.
- Elimination of all forms of forced or compulsory labour.
- No discrimination in employment or occupation.
- Respect for freedom of association and the effective right to collective bargaining.
- Assurance of occupational health and safety standards.
Communication and Responsibility
This policy is made available to all Elara Maison employees, business partners, clients, and other interested parties upon request. It reflects our commitment to transparency, social responsibility, and environmental stewardship.
